Care industry leaders across the globe are scrambling to improve retention.
The Truth of the Situation
Staff turnover in this industry is high at 24-28% in Australia alone and costing upward of $40,000 for every person that leaves the organisation.
Since 2014, the average hospital in the USA has turned over 87.8% of its entire workforce, and the data suggests this trend will only increase in the coming years.
This is just some of the evidence reinforcing the World Health Organisation’s prediction of an 18 million healthcare worker shortage by 2030.
We provide new ways for care professionals to grow, strengthen resilience and recover from challenges in care. When people are exhausted and depleted, creative problem-solving and healthy responses are suppressed. Friction, hostility and divisiveness take over and the downward spiral ensues.
